On Saturday 28th April, Woking Gymnastics Club was delighted to welcome Ray Morgan, Chief Executive of Woking Borough Council, to the club to provide an update on our relocation plans.
It was great for our staff members to hear about the progress of our potential new facility at Ten Acre and we are all very excited about the prospect of a brand new, bigger facility for all our gymnasts and members of the community! Progress with the planning application has been extremely positive and well received, and we are hoping to hear the outcome of this planning application towards the end of June 2018. If all goes to plan, Ray explained that we are looking for construction to start in October 2018 and be ready to move by Winter 2019!
All staff and trustees of Woking Gymnastics Club are so thankful to have the support of Woking Borough Council and look forward to the coming months of planning!
